What is PlumX Metrics?

PlumX Metrics gathers metrics to provide insights into the ways people interact with individual pieces of research (like articles, book chapters, conference proceedings, etc.) in the online environment. For example, a metric could include when research is mentioned in the news or is tweeted about. PlumX Metrics are divided into five categories to help make sense of huge amounts of data and to enable analysis by comparing like with like: Citations, Usage, Captures, Mentions, and Social Media.
