Can I use Turnitin before I submit my work?

Yes - this is called Turnitin Draft Coach. You must use your ACE Office 365 Microsoft Word account to access Draft Coach. Once activated, Draft Coach will analyze your writing and provide feedback and recommendations based on similarity, citations, and grammar. Specifically, it will check your paper for similarities to existing content in Turnitin's database (you are allowed to run up to three checks per paper), help you manage your references and citations, and alert you to any errors in your grammar, usage, mechanics, and structure. The tool will highlight any issues it detects and offer suggestions for improvement. Using Draft Coach will allow you to check the similarity score before submitting Word documents to Canvas.
