I used the citation tool in the database to create my citation. Why is it wrong?
Answer
Citation tools found in databases should be considered drafts only.
While these tools are handy, but they are computer-generated and often incorrect. Think of the citations provided as a rough draft or place holder for you to edit before submitting your assignments. ACE students are responsible for learning how to format correctly using APA and ACE guidelines. It is part of the learning process.
