How to Log Into Sage Databases

Sometimes, the links from the E-Reserves take you to Sage, but you are not logged in properly. To fix that, please follow these steps:

  • In the top right corner of the Sage websites, click the Institution button Click the Institution button at the top of the page on the far right
  • Click "Access Via Your Institution"
    Click the "Access Via Your Institution" button in the middle of the screen
  • In the box, begin typing American College of Education and select it from the drop-down menu
  • Check the box for "Remember my institution" and then click the "Continue" button
    Enter "American College of Education" in the field and click the name from the dropdown, then click the Continue button
  • Click the blue "OpenAthens/Shibboleth" button
    Click the Open Athens/Shibboleth button
  • Click on "ACE Student and Alumni Login" and then enter your credentials as you normally wouldSelect the upper option to sign into the library using the exact same username and password as you use in the MyACE Portal

You will see the ACE torch in the upper right when you are successfully signed into Sage.

What to do if you are logged into a different institution in Sage

Some schools and institutions also have a Sage subscription. If you are using a work computer, you may be automatically logged into Sage via your workplace. If you cannot log out via the institution logo, you may have to ask your work IT department for assistance getting you logged into ACE's Sage subscription.
